Lewis completes his record breaking swim in 21 days!

Video Update
After 21 gruelling days Lewis completes his epic 325km swim

We are proud to be sponsoring Lewis Pugh, an extreme swimmer to be the first person to swim the entire length of the River Thames, all 203 miles (325km), from source to sea.

Lewis' challenge will start on 17 July in the rolling English countryside near Cirencester with the aim of finishing at Southend Pier.

The swim will take him through fields and pastures, Oxford, Reading, Henley-on-Thames, Windsor, London and Greenwich.

Commenting on Lewis' (in his own words) "hardest swim to date", Investec Asset Management's CEO Hendrik du Toit, says

We strive to be 'Out of the Ordinary. As an entrepreneurial investment firm we believe that constantly challenging boundaries is the route to both personal and business success. To us, Lewis Pugh embodies the characteristics that we aim to use for our clients and within our business. I cannot think of a better ambassador for Investec Asset Management than this extraordinary man, who constantly pushes himself above and beyond the normal physical limits.

We are proud to support his endeavour and wish him the greatest success in his Thames Challenge swim."
